Printing a digital photo - What am I doing wrong?
I printed out a digital photo today. First I printed on plain paper, only to ensure that the size and positioning were right. He came out looking beautiful. Then I loaded my photo paper - Office Depot brand, high gloss Premium photo paper - and my picture was grainy and covered with white lines. My printer is a Canon Pixma iP4000. The software used for printing is PhotoWorks 2.41. Any advice from experts who picture?
That's bizarre. Because for the most part, I only get problems when the inkjet printer Catridge Ink is not correct or if one is defective Catridge. But as you said, that goes well on plain paper, but with lines of white beans in glass high paper I am suspecting couple of things. Be sure to set the selection of paper (print settings) for hi premium gloss paper. Dosn't if the work, make it automatic. If this does not work, simply switch to glossy paper instead of just regullar Hi Gloss or premium. One of them should be fine. I would also The test run configuration printer glossy paper and see how it goes (not all, alignment, cleaning, deep cleaning). Finally, if you have exhausted all options, just replace all the cartridges with a new set. I had to do this couple times when I had these white lines appear during printing. Make sure you run clean Catridge work before use.
