Professional Camera Tripod
Good tripod for travel high ....?
Can anyone recommend a decent camera tripod for use on holiday? I do not mean one of those Stuff pocket extends to about ten inches - I'm after something that is reasonably portable (so it fits in a backpack or small), but which may extend to the waist or chest height so that it can be placed on the floor. You also have to be quite tough as I want to mount a video camera it occasionally. I worked in a store for serious or professional photographer 25 years ago, and am familiar with brands like Manfrotto, Velbon, Stitz and Benbo - but now all I need is something stable and robust enough to do the job without land costs. Anyone got any products to recommend? Thank you!
Depends how much you spend? Look in the Manfrotto website (www.manfrotto.co.uk) There is no section called as choosing the right tripod. 055C tripod is very good, about £ 100 inc head light But if you want then you have to pay more for a carbon fiber tripod have to pay upto £ 250 P
