What Manfrotto tripod to buy?
I want to buy a carbon fiber tripod. I read about it and I like to buy Manfrotto. I found two Manfrotto tripods 1. Manfrotto 055CXPRO4 carbon fiber tripod and 2. Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod 190CXPRO4 Can anyone tell me what is the best and why? My photographic equipment Nikon D300 Nikon D70 and Nikon lenses - 18-200mm, 105mm Macro, 50mm 1.4 Thanks in advance
Both are about the same in features. The 055 is taller, and can handle more weight. It also weighs more. I have the 190CXPRO4, and even with my Canon 5D Mark II and my great 70-200 IS f2.8 L on it, I never felt it was not good enough. Go to the Manfrotto website carefully consider both, but unless you are very high, I bet that would make it smaller well.
