Tripod Sony Canon
Best digital SLR camera, preferably under $ 500?
I'm going to college in the fall, so they can not pay all that is too expensive. This will be my first DSLR ... I always point and shoot cameras. I want to settle with the lenses that come with the camera. I no longer want to photography as a career ... is a hobby, but I want to be able to take pictures of beautiful appearance, professionally, while traveling or event photography. I do not want to bring a tripod. Good zoom would be nice ... macro would be too cold, but it is so important. I want to be able to take photos at night, portraits and action photos. I'm looking at the Nikon D40 but I have heard that it has image stabilization? How important is this ... especially if I'm not using a tripod? I shake a bit when I have the camera ... but the photos it takes generally turn out well if you do not extend too close ... However, my current camera (Sony) has image stabilization. How Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus and compare? And that is the best, in your opinion?
