What happened to my cat - Question for veterans?
About 4 weeks, my cat came home dragging his hind legs and had difficulty breathing. We immediately took to the vet only to discover that there was nothing wrong with him, the days passed and he got better. After a week or so, I saw him lying on the grass, panting like a seal, after they stopped eating as much, and was loseing her hair. Last Saturday I heard this horrible scream and found him dragging his legs again, crying and trying to breathe. I immediately put it in his basket, seconds after the liquid started running from the mouth and nose, bowed his head and died. What happened to my cat? Why has not Veterinarians collect anything? Could it have been expelled? sounds like an inmate common problems like cancer or something? please help put my mind at rest. Ow forgot to say that just being young / middle ages for a cat, and before that was very healthy.
This is just a suggestion and not seen your cat, so I'm not saying this is definitely what happened. From your description sounds like a condition that we see in cats occasionally get a blood clot attached to the base of its main artery, blocking blood supply their hind legs. They leave their hind legs, hind legs very cold and then a sensation of pins and needles set and begin to mourn a very characteristic. A sometimes throw a clot in the lungs, and then have trouble breathing. This may be something that just happens out of the blue with no warning or may have an underlying heart problem. Unfortunately euthanasia is the kindest option for these types as the treatment is very, very rarely successful and the condition is very painful. If you have questions or would like a better idea of what happened then I recommend talking with the vets who have seen, as they may have found something that was different. Such a horrible thing to happen, I'm sorry.
