Mini Tripod Sony
What would you recommend as a LANC camcorder / tripod combo?
Hi, I have been looking for a MiniDV camcorder, with capacity remote control and fluid tripod head since November and I thought that was established with the Sony DCR-HC51 and RHD124 Giottos tripod (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/318611-REG/Giottos_RHD124_CAM_Control_Tripod_with.html) but has become the RHD124 disrupted in recent days and, while I remember reading that he had a LANC connector, it seems I made a mistake with the HC51 and it is not. The budget that he had was £ 300 / $ 430 and includes the camera, tripod, 20 tapes, one spare battery, bag and box. It can be a difficult task to try to keep under that amount if I need to upgrade your camera or tripod, but I do not really matter, but any ideas? Thanks in advance, Tom should include that I live in the UK and a video camera PAL is preferable.
I'd like to keep separate LANC tripod. The DCR-HC51 does not have LANC. Consumers less expensive (new) camcorder - of which I am aware - with a LANC port is the Sony HDR-HC9. Check Sony RM-VD1 (standard 2.5 mm LANC connector) or RM-AV2 (for the HC9). LANC EBenk makes a cheap, too (but I do not think fit the HC9 - No, I do not know why Sony decided to use that stupid LANC port standard).
