how do i upload pictures with my digital camera? i have a Kodak easyshare MD853?
I have my pictures on my kodak easyshare MD853 digital camera and Im having trouble uploading the pictures to my computer. How are you supposed to upload them? i plugged it into the computer but nothing is happening. please help

Install the software first, then plug the USB cable, then use the installed software to transfer the pictures. More detailed information here:

If you still have trouble, the camera might be malfunctioning (in which case you should take it back to the shop), or you could be doing something wrong.
A (somewhat) easier way to transfer pictures from the camera's memory card to the computer is to use an external USB memory card reader, thus completely avoiding the Kodak software and simply transferring the pictures from the card (inserted into the card reader) to the computer just as you would transfer any other file from an external USB storage device.
