What is the recommended telephoto lens for the Canon Rebel Xsi?
I recently purchased the Canon Rebel Xsi with the EF-S 18-55mm lens. I've been taking some action shots of the soccer team and would like to purchase a telephoto lens. What are the options that wont break the bank! Thanks...
You might look into the 70-200 f/4 with no IS. Or the 70-200 f/2.8 with no IS. Its going to be a little short sometimes and you will need to get right on the sidelines. However I shoot college soccer all the time with th 70-200 f/2.8 and get great shots. You could also try the 70-300 f/4-5.6, do not mistake this lens with the 75-300 f/4-5.6.
