how do i get sound when sharing my webcam on yahoo messenger 8.1 or 9.0? i hav laptop with mic,speakers,vista?
Voice requires that the DSP Group True Speech™ Audio CODEC is installed and enabled on your computer.
Since Microsoft thought we Vista users didn't need it they didn't install it on our PC's, the retards that they are !!!
So you need to go to this site>>> http://www.yazakpro.com/chatstuff/yahoo/vistayahoovoicefix.html and download the codec to get voice for your Vista machine. Just follow the instructions!
IF for some reason your anti virus program thinks it's a virus, I can guarantee you that it is NOT!!! I had to install it myself to get voice on my vista pc.
Oh and do yourself a favor and go with the 8.1 messenger. The beta 9 really sux on vista, at least it did on mine.
