How can I reduce the yellow tinge my digital camera gives all pictures?
My Konica Minolta DiMage Z3 has a yellow tinge to all pictures taken without flash. The exposure must also be extremely slow because it takes forever for the camera to take one picture, and everything is blurry if I don't use flash. I'm trying to take a picture of my christmas tree with no other lights on, and the camera is turning the tree into this blurry, yellow mass.

The yellow tinge is from the white balance. The ideal is to learn how to do a precise custom one, but for most indoor things otherwise you'll want to set it to "Tungsten" on your particular camera (or sometimes Fluorescent).
And yes, it's going to need a longer exposure indoors in the dark without flash. You'll likely need to set the camera on a tripod or very stable surface (like a table), and then press the shutter button very gently so it doesn't jostle the camera. In a low-light setting like that, it's going to need time to get all the light it wants, and you can't move it even slightly while it's doing it. It's probably going to want at least a second or two per shot, during which time the camera must be totally immobile -- you can't do that handheld.
