I have a canon power shot sx120 is camera and the card came with it i accidently formatted the sd card?
and i lost my sons birth pictures on it and my wedding pictures how do i get them back
When was the last time you copied all the images on your cameras memory card to your computer? It is recommended that you do that at the end of each day. If you did recently, then they are all on your computer.
If not, you will want to buy a reliable image recovery program like the Lexar program Rescue3. Do NOT use that card until you have attempted recovering your images.
SD cards are so inexpensive, you should carry a spare with you at all times anyway.
In the future copy all of your photos to your computer at the end of each day of shooting and format the memory card to prevent the chance of card corruption
