Can I recover a kingston USB DT 8GB drive?
My pendrive dosent work because when I put it on my 2.0 Usb port, the LED on the drive does not lit. It's like there's no power is retrived by the USB drive. But when this night I put it on again to test it, it lit! But barely and the windows says connect to port USB 2.0 to get more speed but it's on 2.0 PORT. after a few seconds, it died again.... Dint have the chance to explore the dive to backup some important files 
does it have water in it or somthing because I have never got it soaked or watered. I try to hit the thing on my table couple of times but still no luck.... Can sombody help me ? I still have the warranty but I have lost the receipt and I can't find it! Maybe it will expire soon.... Hope I will find it.
Note: I have tried on other computers but still can't(not my computer's port problem)

I had a client with same problem recently. USB drives do not last for ever and I have seen so many fail and die in the last two years it's not funny. Never only have the files you cannot do without in one source.
As to a solution, it's limited. The one I looked at recently seemed to not keep it's power when connecting to the computer. The light would go on for a couple seconds then off. I was able to push it in almost all the way into the usb port and the light would stay on longer, gave it a few seconds and then pushed it in all the way and it seemed to keep a charge for maybe 6 seconds. This was just enough time to bring up the files and copy one or two at a time. Then repeat the process.
This would only work if the files were small - these were word files.
So with this experience, I'm guessing that something on the chip level of your drive that helps it hold the power charge is fried. Only way to fix it is to get a micro-chip guy to fix it - but I have no idea where you would get that fixed.
