Have no idea what internal memory means??
The DSC-T70 comes with internal memory. This memory is quite useless because it's of a very tiny capacity of 31MB, which will only allow you to shoot 10 high quality images.
So, you will need to buy a Memory Stick PRO Duo card in order to take lots more images and movies. Sony is the ONLY camera brand that uses Memory Stick. But that's what we would expect from Sony, isn't it? You don't have to use a Sony branded Memory Stick. You can use ANY brand of Memory Stick.
Each 1GB of memory allows you to shoot around 300 high quality images (8M). Make sure you always shoot images in the best quality available.
Also, each 1GB allows you to shoot 12 1/2 minutes of high quality movies (VX Fine Mode).
A 2GB Memory Stick PRO duo card would be a good minimum capacity. The fast, Sandisk Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo...looks good. It's available for under $40 (shop around for the best price).
You will need to format the Memory Stick PRO Duo before you use it (this is done in the camera's MENU...check your user guide).
