TV pilots Meeting Recognizes Veterans Stock Car Racing
Like many of the drivers of the early years of the sport are already retired or about to retirement, television and sponsors of large amounts of money by exploiting the popularity of auto racing. These drivers running on the short tracks of America, some sacrifice everything else for the love of the sport court. His popularity depended on the loyal fans who saw them in person, reading of his exploits in the newspapers and publications, or radio. They are often overlooked by today's news media for the heroes of modern day racing. While car drivers today are undoubtedly the race worthy of his celebrity status, many fans, young and old, still seeking information about the veterans who founded the sport. RacersReunion.net provides the means for gathering information, photography, video and the accounts of runners in a single place.
The Internet has become one of, if not the primary source for research in the world today. One can often find mentioned by name and some statistics, but less frequently the photograph of the legends of auto racing. In addition to photos, videos and biographies, an opportunity RacersReunion.net communicate with the heroes of racing history and learn what they are today.
RacersReunion.net was founded by Jeff Gilder, a former racing driver and make a track champion raced short tracks in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. He attributes his success to a career in mentoring of a veteran pilot with Paul Lewis name. Lewis has made an effort to acknowledge the contribution of veteran runners with an annual event called "Racers Reunion" held every mother Day weekend as was the case during the past 12 years. RacersReunion.net is an extension of the efforts of Paul Lewis.
