How can I get my computer - o/s XP Pro - to recognise my digital camera so I can upload the pictures from it.?
It seems that the computer cannot find the drivers. I tried using a card reader instead (that supposedly did not need software) but the computer keeps telling that it can't find the software for this device either.
I have already installed all the software supplied with the camera. It is listed in the device manager, but with a question mark against it. But the scanner & camera wizard cannot find it.
Usually you get some software on a disk that comes with the camera to enable you to do this. Often this includes drivers and other stuff, e.g., simple photo editing software etc.
If you haven't got the disk look up the camera manufacturers website to download what you need. If the camera manufacturers haven't got a website - what the heck are you doing trying to use a piece of sh1t like that to take photos with?
