is their a warranty on this camera?
i got this camera for christmas! and its already broke i didnt drop it or anything but when i turn it on, it is all blurry and you cant see a single thing. then when i turn it off, the lense doesnt shut all the way. when i tryed uploading pics on the computer, it didnt work! it turned off! i have had this camera less than half a year! and i also got it from target

Call Olympus and get directions for sending the camera in, be sure to include all your information on a sheet with:
1. Your Name & address & phone #. (add email for good measure).
2. The camera name, serial number, where purchased and date ( and if you can get a hold of it a copy of your receipt.)
Then a brief description like:
1. Upon turning camera on-image is blurry on the LCD or viewfinder or both (be sure to specify).
2. Turning camera off, lens does not retract completely.
3. Uploading pictures to PC computer, camera does not work, turns off by itself.
4. Anything you or I forgot to mention.
Send U.P.S. and insure the camera. Be sure to pack in larger box with packing peanuts. Ask small stores for packing materials or dumpster dive for these things, try to avoid buying them.
And don't ask Target to send it in. They will either charge you for the service or delay sending it in promptly as most retailers do!
Also manufacturers will repair YOUR camera a lot faster than one sent to them from a retailer.
