How to transfer photos from digital camera into laptop?
I need some help. This is the first time I ever tried to transfer photos from my cam into my laptop. I'm using the SD card reader adapter. When I insert the micro SD and tried to open the contained pictures, this thing pop out : The disk in drive D is not formatted. Do you want to format now?
I have to clicked Yes, otherwise it won't open. But I clicked No because I'm afraid it might erase all the pictures and videos in the micro SD. So how do I do it? HELP!!
Do not click yes. It will erase the entire memory card. Did your camera come with a cable that you can connect to your computer? Cameras usually format the card for you before you start using it, so it is a little odd that you're having this issue. Try connecting it to another computer first to see if you get the same message. When you put in cards like that, it usually shows up as Removable Media or similar. And 99% of the time it is formatted.
So, find the cable and connect it through the camera. Or try another computer first.
