Hello The amount of noise is really dependent on the ISO and aperture and shutter speed. The higher the ISO more noise.You need a higher ISO if shoooting in shadow. Greater openness is needed if shooting in low light. You need a slower shutter spped too. The three co-exist and can change any party to another. Until you get the best result. Adding a flash means you do not have to increase these variables. So in theory the noise levels are kept down. However, the picture quality may be compromised if you do not get a true representation realistic. So if its less noise, lower quality, then yes flash help. If its louder, better quality, then it will not. I recommend for your flash project. Good Sat luck
