Where can I get a cheap digital camera with optical zoom and good memory?
I want to find a small, preferably under £80-£90 with decent optical zoom and memory. I'd rather have blue,silver or black. I wnat it mainly for use around my horses and at school, it will need to be robust. One without software for photo upload would be good, and it really needs to be simple to use with maximum of about 10-15 buttons
You will have to actually walk into a store that sells cameras to find the one which will suit you the best.
1) good memory has all to do with how much you buy to later put in your camera. SD / SDHC cards give you the most storage for the £.
2) robust cameras are expensive. Look for Olympus "SW" models as well as their new "Tough" series cameras. Canon makes one such camera (D10) and so of the new Pentax cameras are also made to be sturdy.
