What is the difference in quality of the company of a professional head shot and Meijer photo department?
I have some wedding photos printed and that cost me about $ 66 for a 16x20 print from the printing company used by the photographer, where it only costs $ 10.99 in Meijer if I have an image printed on a memory card. Therefore, if I can get the images on a memory card, there is tremendous difference in quality between the company Pro and Meijer (or Walmart or wherever)? Is that better use of paper or ink that really make a difference or something, or am I just getting a hose by Pro?
I do not think you would "get a hose" by a professional lab for custom printing $ 66 that you will treasure for a lifetime. However, those Kodak machines are almost everywhere you can do a good job. My suggestion is to try the route Meijer and see what you think. If the pair, you is money ahead. If not, give the lab your photographer, go to your favorite photo (s) and give the machine Meijer (or an online laboratory), the "not-so-favorites."
